For the 9th consecutive year, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has named Edlong as one of Chicago’s 2022 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. Companies throughout Chicagoland compete each year to be named among this select group, and only those that distinguish themselves as having the most innovative and thoughtful human resources approach are bestowed this honor.
“Innovating best-in-class flavor solutions is what we do, but it isn’t who we are,” said Laurette Rondenet, Edlong President and CEO. “Our mission is to enrich the lives of everyone we touch, lifting communities and building connections by harnessing the unique power of food to create shared experiences. That mission – and seeing it come to life – is rooted in the people of Edlong; the true recipients of this award.”
Each company’s entry is evaluated by an independent firm across several categories, including Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives and Strategic Company Performance.
With over 2 decades of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the NABR has identified numerous best Human Resource practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards. The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® program celebrates those companies that are making better business, creating richer lives, and building a stronger community as a whole.
“Thanks to the efforts of many, we celebrate this recognition as one,” added Sue Pils, Chief People Officer for Edlong. “The award is a reflection of our team-wide commitment to continuous improvement, authentic belonging, and to one another.”
