ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL [July 6, 2015] — David Starr, CFO of Edlong Dairy Technologies, is one of 11 executives to be honored with the 2015 CFO of the Year Award from the Daily Herald Business Ledger. The awards recognize financial leaders who contribute to the successful economic growth and stability of the suburban Chicago area.
David joined Edlong in 2012. Since then, the company has experienced strong financial growth, implementing systems and metrics to support strong financial performance and informed decision-making.
“David plays a critical role in ensuring that we have the financial resources, data and analysis to support our vision of being a world-class supplier of dairy flavor technologies,” says Laurette Rondenet-Smith, Edlong President & CEO. “He is a highly valued member of our leadership team, providing important insight and a unique perspective that helps us achieve strategic objectives.”
This is the fourth year the Business Ledger has administered the CFO of the Year Awards. Candidates must be nominated for the honor, and are evaluated based on their contributions to their company’s overall growth, commitment to good ethics, effective reporting and involvement in the community.
David and the other winners will receive their awards at a reception on July 23, and will be profiled in the August 17 issue of the Business Ledger.
