Edlong Dairy Technologies Surprises SupplySide® West Attendees

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL [December 29, 2015] Edlong Dairy Technologies generated excitement about the unexpected ways dairy flavors can solve difficult formulation challenges for manufacturers of healthy products at the SupplySide West 2015 Global Expo & Conference. Jennifer Lowry, VP Sales & Marketing, described how the company added a mozzarella flavor to a coffee beverage to add richness and creaminess; a cotija cheese flavor to a whole grain sweet snack bar for a savory note, and other intriguing solutions.

“Edlong excels at helping food manufacturers use dairy flavors to solve unique problems, and helping them discover interesting ways of applying a familiar ingredient in unexpected ways,” says Ms. Lowry. “These solutions may sound strange to the ear, but they make perfect sense to the taste buds,” she adds.

Ms. Lowry spoke during the Ingredient Launchpad segment of the show. She also described how a vanilla cream flavor masked beany notes in a chocolate chickpea bar; a milk flavor masked protein taste and astringency in a green tea latte; and a new line of sweet milk flavors that leverage the inherent sweet taste of https://youtu.be/9LjcT1PBN-4dairy in a white chocolate oat beverage.
