ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL [July 6, 2017]—Laurette Rondenet, President and CEO of Edlong Dairy Technologies, has been named to the Flavor and Extract Manufacturers Association (FEMA) Board of Governors.
“I am honored to continue Edlong’s long-standing support of the flavor industry through FEMA,” says Laurette Rondenet. “I look forward to lending my skills to help promote broader educational tools for expanding industry knowledge while fostering a global environment where the flavor industry can create, innovate and compete,” she adds.
Edlong has a long history with FEMA that dates back more than half a century. Many of the company’s leaders, including its founder, Edward Long, were active FEMA members. The company currently has three other FEMA members, including Rick Schultz, Lloyd Sapra and Paul Patel.
Laurette Rondenet is also an active member of the President’s Forum (SAGE), Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Society of Fellows of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). In 2016 she joined the NAWBO Spirit Foundation as a board member and was selected to join the WBENC Enterprise Forum.
