Edlong to Highlight Innovative Vegan and Dairy-Free Applications at Free From Functional Food Expo

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, USA [15 May 2019]—Edlong, a leading manufacturer of dairy and dairy-free flavours, will be an exhibitor and presenter at the Free From Functional Food Expo, in Barcelona, Spain this month. The annual event features over 300 suppliers and attendees from more than 49 countries.

Edlong Applications Manager Anne Marie Butler will present “Dairy-Free, The Taste Challenges,” an overview of the future of dairy, and how developers moving towards dairy-free can overcome taste issues and meet the next big challenges facing this fast-growing market.

At Stand E17, which is part of the Lactose-Free and Dairy-Free Innovation Tour, visitors can sample Edlong’s natural, dairy-free flavours. Featured demos will be dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free and non-GMO chocolate and caramel cake bites and vegan savoury Edam-style cheese biscuits.

The event takes place 28-29 May at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Spain. “Dairy-Free, the Taste Challenges” program will take place 13:30 to 13:55 hours on Tuesday, 28 May and 13:00 to 13:25 hours on Wednesday, 29 May in the Lactose-Free and Dairy-Free Conference.
